It is nearly impossible to get an appointment in the rheumatology clinic in a timely fashion. I was first offered a date 18 MONTHS from the day I called. Then I received a call a week later offering me a date two months out. It turns out there was a cancellation, and I got in the next day. For a patient, This is truly unsettling. This is not the first time something like this has happened. I was to have my two year BMD test in the summer of 2022. I received a call canceling that appointment and offering me something six months hence. I went elsewhere.
