Do you put the cubes of bread from the stuffing mix into this, or do you just use the packet of seasoning?

This is great. I have made it 2 times now. once as written & again by adding chopped onions & chopped green pepper. Very easy.

I have to admit, I was skeptical about the Stove Top Chicken Dressing but it was a fabulous addition!! No one could figure out the secret ingredient.

This was a **********+ at my son's wedding. We had a early morning wedding to avoid the heat of the day. Many of the guests where from out of town so we had a breakfast buffet.

It's almost embarrassing how simple this recipe is - but oh so tasty! I substituted Jimmy Dean's reduced fat sausage for the ham, added onions and green pepper, and increased the measurements to servings for nine. Used a 9x13 inch pan but did not have to increase the cooking time. It was a hit with my Coffee Klatch and teenage son. Thank you Merlot for posting this recipe!

Loved this recipe. It's one that I've memorized as it is so easy. The stuffing gives it a great flavor. This is my go-to breakfast recipe for weekends and I love how flexible it is--I've used bacon, sausage, ham, added mushrooms, and have also added extra onion. The leftovers if there are any, are great reheated for lunch!

I've been making this recipe for years, easy to double and make in a 9X13 pan. Also, have added about 1/3 cup diced onion and red bell pepper per recipe, cooked a little to soften then cooled a little bit before adding to rest of mixture. Have used Bacon or sausage instead of ham. People love the bacon one.

Absolutely fantastic and easy to make! I substituted ground chicken sausage for the ham (just peeled the casings off of them and mushed them up a bit).

Used plain unseasoned stuffing cubes. Also used crushed gluten free bagel chips for a gluten free version.

Once I discovered Zaar, I never looked back at the other sites. This place is truly like family, sitting around sharing great recipes, helpful hints and just chit-chatting about our daily lives.Hubby and I were fortunate enough to be able to retire early and now enjoy traveling in our motorhome :) . Our travels have taken us all over this great country of ours and meeting new and exciting people along the way is an extra bonus. We are blessed. We usually alternate between Florida Keys and Arizona for the winters. The rest of the year, you can find us just about any place. We love our home on the lake, but there is a bit of gypsy in us both and we hit the road as much as we possibly can.I subscribe to Taste of Home and own EVERY Southern Living Annual since 1979.I guess my biggest pet peeve is people who are negative all the time. Because I enjoy life so much, I try to avoid such people. Life is too short.
