Grilled Maple Sausage Casserole
As a matter of fact, years ago with used to go camping with a large group of people. In all honesty, it was so much fun. Everyone took turns to make breakfast, or dinner and to clean up. Although for lunch, each family was on their own. There is nothing like frying up 10 lbs of bacon and 1o lbs of sausage with pancakes, eggs, and fried potatoes made on the grill. My kids had a ball. In fact, they often couldn’t sleep at night because they were so excited for the morning.
However, I often grill at home in the summer. Needless to say, it keeps my kitchen cool. Did you know you can bake on your smoker grill or BBQ? In a word, my husband and I are spoiled with a Traeger you can use other grills as well. Our Treager is both a grill and a smoker and uses pellets. Nevertheless, I wish I could have a smokehouse like in the days of yore. Furthermore, smoked steaks, seafood, and baked goods have never tasted so good. Indeed, this recipe is perfect for those who camp, go RVing. and those of us who BBQ in our backyards. The smoky flavor will have you drooling for more. Not to mention, it would be perfect for Tailgating.
Something about the flavors will have you reminiscing about camping or eating around a fire. So many great memories are tied to food. Without a doubt, my family camping memories are some of my favorites.
Incidentally, I used Maple Chicken Sausage easily found at Amazon or Costco.
